If you crave tasty treats to go along with your meal, add some ripe strawberries and blueberries, pears, bananas, and mangoes; experiment with combinations! Popular mixtures include strawberry kiwi and apple with banana; do they sound familiar? Of course! Finding the right combination in fruit juices can make or break the flavor, and experimentation is encouraged. A berry flavored mixture may be the perfect place to start!

If you prefer a sour combination, fruits like lemon and lime will satisfy you. Tart fruit juices come from the citrus family, as citrus fruits do not ripen. Also, their skin is thicker, so it is recommended to juice them over blending. These types of juices may be used for cleansing the body of impurities; including some zest and pulp in the drink helps with the process by adding fiber. Citrus juices contain multiple vitamins, excellent for preventing disease and keeping the skin smooth and healthy, recommended for someone ready to cleanse their insides.

You can purchase citrus juices like orange juice, apple juice, lemonade, and even grapefruit juice at stores; however, these synthetic juices are more than likely littered with sugars and concentrates of the flavors rather than the actual thing. Homemade juices are by far much better health wise, and you choose your own ingredients to suit your preference. Plus, what is more satisfying than your own fresh creation?

There are basic ingredients to every cup of fruit juice, and they vary with each person’s preference. In some juices, especially herbal concoctions or teas, absorption through exposure to heat (brewing) is necessary. Other juices are usually consumed cold, possibly with or in ice.

You may even choose to freeze your fruit and add it to the rest of your juice. Other things based off of preference include leaving the skin in the blender, using regular water versus coconut milk or almond water, and whether or not you should add sugar. It may take multiple attempts to realize your true preferences, but you have all the time in the world to experiment and find your favorite taste.

Making strawberry juice is simple, fast, and fun. By following our recipe below, you can enjoy the wonderful freshness of strawberry juice any time in the comfort of your own home.

Ingredients:
Strawberries (2 to 3 cups)
Salt (A pinch–optional)
Sugar (A tablespoon or two–optional)
Ice cubes (as desired)
Lemons or lemon juice (1 teaspoon)
Water (As desired)

You will need:
A blender
Cheesecloth (optional)
A bowl
A knife

First, you should place the strawberries in a bowl and rinse them under cold running water. Remove the stem and cut the strawberries so that you can more easily blend them. Add a little water and lemon juice into the blender with the strawberries.

If you already have sweet strawberries, you may not need to add any additional sugar. If you would prefer your strawberry juice to be a little sweeter, you can adjust the amount of sugar you add, but keep in mind that you don’t have to add any additional sugar to make strawberry juice. By controlling the amount of sugar you add to the blender, you can create a healthier beverage. Additionally, if you wish, you can also add some salt to the blender–again, this is not necessary. No more than a pinch of salt is necessary. It is important to watch your sodium intake, so be careful to keep a close eye on the amount of sodium you add to this recipe as well as others.

If you would prefer to serve your strawberry juice cold, you can add cold water or ice cubes into the blender as well. This is perfect for a refreshing, chill treat on a hot summer day. If you do not wish to add ice cubes at this stage, you can add ice cubes into your glass before you serve your juice. This is ideal if you’re serving to multiple people, as some may prefer their juice room temperature.

After adding the desired ingredients into the blender, you should blend them on a low setting until you have a smooth puree of strawberries. Ideally, your strawberry juice should be as smooth as possible; however, if you would prefer your juice to be as smooth as possible, you should place cheesecloth over a bowl and drain your juice through it. This will get rid of any excess rough and unblended parts of the strawberries.

If you wish to add ice cubes, now is your final chance, as it is time to pour and serve your delicious treat! Now you get an amazing juice idea just enjoy it at your home with your family.
